As his final act as President of the Rotary Club of Oxford, Dr Stan Cronan presents a cheque for £1,150 to Vale House. The cheque was accepted on behalf of Vale House by Mrs Evelyn Wilks.The money represented the proceeds of a concert performed by the The Radcliffe Orchestra at Tingewick Hall, organised earlier in the year with Oxford Rotary members.

Vale House is an assisted Living facility for 40 residents who have some of the severest and most difficult forms of dementia. It is based at Sandford-on-Thames just outside Oxford and was founded in 1990. A massive fund-raising effort since then has just now paid off the original £5M loan for building and equipping the facility.
