New Oxford Rotary President – Rev Dr Martin Wellings

The Rotary Club of Oxford is very pleased to announce that its new President for 2017/18 is the Rev Dr Martin Wellings. He succeeds retired GP Dr Stan Cronan.

Martin is Minister of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, a post which he has held since 2008. He is also the Superintendent Minister of the Oxford Methodist Circuit and an Ecumenical (or Honorary) Canon at Christchurch. He is an academic and an authority on the history of Methodism.

Rotary exists to encourage and foster public service as a basis of worthy enterprise by the development of acquaintance, high ethical standards in business and the professions and the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace.

The Rotary Club of Oxford meets on Mondays for lunch and friendly, good company at The Randolph Hotel at 12.45pm (excluding bank holidays). We have guest speakers on a wide variety of topics at every meeting.
