The theme for the evening was ‘One World’. Each group chose 2 songs to sing on their own, and they joined together for a massed choir to sing 4 songs:- Children singing for Children; One World; A story told in glass; and World in Union.

The audience were joined by the Chairman of Oxfordshire County Council Cllr Zoe Patrick, the District Governor David Pope and a number of other local dignitaries.

Rotarians from the club were part of the organisation and a number were in the audience.
The event was held in Wesley Memorial Church, a Methodist church in the centre of Oxford. The President of the Rotary Club for this year Rev Dr Martin Wellings is the minister of the church.
He said ‘It was a wonderful event for Rotary, and for Save the Children, and for the church as well’
